They could easily shave up to 12 to 14 grams with some really light pulleys.

+1. And they are noisy too.

@bura, PSM,

Not sure why Carbonsports opt for KCNC pulleys either, perhaps for better durability?
Fibre Lyte carbon pulleys is definitely a better match on the RD, that's for sure.

I personally do not think that KCNC pulleys are more reliable than composite pulleys. Like POM or other.
No experience with Fibre Lyte yet but made my experience with CF Roth Scheck and Extralite and AFC.
So CF pulleys may look good on the LW RD but personally think that POM (Delrin) is the best material for pulleys because made from one block and not glued with layers.
Look in the link below. I am riding with some super light AFC 10T Delrin pulleys.

How are the Body Paint bibs sized, say compared to Assos or Rapha (Pro team)?

Considering getting a pair :-)

I have a pair of Castelli "branded"/team bibs that are just awesome (and have no silicon leg gripper - damn comfortable!) and hoping the Body Paint is as good or better..

I have an older pair of assos fi uno bibs in large- I'm probably somewhere between their medium and large, but the large fits better. Compared to Castelli, I've always worn a large and it fits perfectly.

hope that helps...

2013 Fizik R3 - they are a more neutral shape, and the lavish amounts of mesh means they are significantly lighter, almost 50% per shoe lighter than the 2012 (all leather) R1s.
