adding my EM telekom into my fav thread!
I wanted to start a thread with pics of steel bikes with carbon deep wheels. I love the look. I personally have 46mm on mine but am thinking of going deeper. I do live in a very hilly area in Southern California so every ride I do has a few 5-12 percent ascents and descents. I know the only downside I've had with carbons is the descending with a crosswind and a big truck goes by you, it can get a little tense. I'm guessing with 60mm it gets worse. Braking has been great, btw mine are tubulars. Feedback on your experiences descending with 50+mm wheels appreciated.
