From the manufacturer, their US distro, and a person that knows the creator of the rings.

Wiggo tried a pair a few years ago that were silver, but they were just thicker than the normal rings and not differently shaped.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

It's probably not that bad in person. I think the camera flash exaggerates things.
