Most excellent, Tugboat!

In Norway we actually have summer this July, as opposed to last year. Found some cattle to match my new kit today.

At Col de la Croix de Fer a couple of weeks ago direction Col du Glandon, with finger. Turned around and suffered badly going back up to La Toussuire, overgeared at 34x25.

At least you won't have an iron deficiency.

hey thanks! We do have a great countryside with lots of small roads. Come and visit! I'm happy to make suggestions about where to ride.
ps There is also plenty of "visual pollution" but I tend to cut that out

From a couple weeks ago. Rode from Averoya Island over the Atlantic Ocean Road towards the former fishing village Bud, and back again. The weather could have been better but it was still awesome :D

All five of these are better then any photo I've taken in my entire life.

Been messing around on my cyclocross bike the last few days:

I spent four days last week in Lærdal, Sognefjorden in Norway on a training camp with friends. We'd driven by car to Øvre Årdal to avoid tunnels and then commence our rides Friday and Saturday.

Friday crossing Tindevegen (50-1300 m) with its relentless incline and switchbacks, then descending to Turtagrø, Fortun and Skjolden in another part of the Sognefjord, heading back to Turtagrø and then over the Tindeveg back to Øvre Årdal. Lots of beautiful scenery, some of the most beautiful views in all of Norway.

Saturday we were to do the same ride almost, but with threshold efforts. After about five hours in the saddle I managed to crash on the final descent. In one of the 13% switchbacks I've been told I lost all my grip and crashed. I can not remember a thing of it, nor the visit at the local ER or having dinner with the boys in the evening. I didn't really come to myself until the morning after when my short term memory returned. I was still not remembering all from the past two weeks, and the previous 2-3 days were all just a blur. Fortunately I was given proper medical care and taken well care of by my friends. Not sure how I would have managed on my own and in a country like Spain were so few can understand English.

Also towards Skjolden.

One of many beautiful waterfalls. This one in Utladalen nearby Hjelle.

On my way to Tyin, looking down at Øvre Årdal. The last thing I can vaguely remember, a couple of hours before my crash.

I took a photo of myself after the crash. Can't remember it! I look somewhat distressed.
