Finally have some miles on the bike. And a few pounds shed in the process. To each his own.

Windsor Wellington 3.0 -24 lbs with platform pedals measured at Performance Bike, Roseville, CA July 2012
Measured today at Folsom Bike shop, Folsom, CA, with Shimano 520 pedlas and 2x alu H2O bottle cages 19.15 lbs
subtracting 400 g for the pedals and that's an 18.0 lb bike.

To each his own.

Neuvation R28 wheelset,
bought 1 used, 1 new $150
Shimano Tiagra Chainset double $45
Merek CF seatpost $78
Nash R2 seat (return item) $19
Forte Tires and tubes $70 (?)
J&L Ti skewers $25
Shimano 8-sp 11-32 cassette $35
$422 Not including est $125 LBS shop fees over 6 months

Good for over 5 lbs diet

I know, big whoop de doo doo.
As the sages said, you will spend more on the upgrades than the bike is worth. And it rides like broken glass over a brick road. Yeah, but the CF Colnago I pestered the shop guy to throw on the scale weighed over 19 without pedals.

Even dwarves start small. :beerchug:

Pics or it doesn't exist. Har !!

I claim the title of King Wellington - the wee weeniest Windsor in existence.

That's with Shimano 520 SPD pedals, which weight precisely 450g or a pound. That's an $399.00 18.05 lb Bikes Direct bike.

From Folsom Bike shop, Folsom, California, USA
