I was thinking of changing my bolts but i am not sure what size all the 12-13 reds use? where would i find that info out? i also wondered where you recommend sourcing the bolts? thanks.
Here a list of bolt sizes for each part:

how can you tell what bolt material you are working with? i would not want to change something that is lighter already?
Nylon - its plastic. Very apparent by looking at it.
Steel vs Ti: Use a magnet. You can generally tell by feel as well, as steel is significantly more dense.
Ti Vs aluminum: Aluminum generally is quite a bit softer, and is a different color. I don't think its very common to find stock though. Perhaps water bottle screws.

Buy a time frame and you get carbon fiber water bottle screw for free. I kept them when I sold the Time and they have served me on two different bikes now.

I cant recall if nylon or carbon is lighter. Bottom line- within a 1gram. Both are lighter than ti or aluminum .
