I'm currently installing the DA9000 groupset onto my Parlee. Regarding the rear derailleur cable going through and into the pinch bolt...the angle before the pinch bolt seems awfully sharp. I'm fine tuning the shifting...and although the shifting seems fine, i see some of the coated shifter cable fraying due to the extreme sharp angle.
Is this normal? or am I installing this incorrectly. Seems that alot of reviews have mentioned the sharp angle (i.e. BikeRumor.com) but no one has mentioned the fraying of the coating.

It's totally normal, and is the one glaring (non)issue on an otherwise outstanding group. Don't worry about the fraying. If it's unsightly for you, put a lighter to it.

thx. you would think that Shimano would smooth out or widen the outlet of the area where it takes a sharp bend. it only shows up on the 11, 12, 13 cogs.
