Nothing personal, Liggero, but you obviously completely missed the point of the last sentence in stella's post.

I read somewhere a comment on a blog saying: "do they actually ever watched the tour on TV?", talking about the skyboys.

All I could think was Riccardo Ricco, Col d'Aspin, stage 9 2008. :(

Quintana is like a 5'2" dude weighing max 52kg, not surprising he can climb. And outside of a very hilly TT in the Basque country on a technical course he knew well, isn't blowing Der Panserwagen in a flat TT. I'm not saying he's deffo clean, but it's in the realm of possibility.

Edit- if you've ever worked out how w/kg differs in speeds depending on gradient and absolute weight, it's no surprise that Nairo would and should excel over 10% gradient

Only 5.9 W/Kg?

Froome-dog was really good at bluffing that grimmace when he dropped Bertie and Quintana. He must've been sorely tempted to unclip and ride one-legged at some point.

sky needs to reveal froome's vo2max/threshold power. only way to alleviate all this doping accusations.

memo to UCI ban all power meters/real time data during races.

So Froome lost 3 minutes to the Armstrong era but is still doping yeah? Must be really rubbish at it.

You realize this was the longest stage ever to get to Mount Ventoux, right?

Rather demoralizing.

But Contador used to do the same thing to the opposition. We'll never see that pistol salute again or will we?

Maybe if Contador hangs in second place he might actually win 2013's tour next year.

After Froome's attack I turned the TV off...I was left with a sick feeling inside...who can tell but the difference between him and the rest appeared unnatural...something just seemed so wrong...
