i cannot find any old glass bottle labels

compared to the corn syrup and additional additives used today.

....but I'm confused!

(I don't condone Powerade nor Gatorade, but Powerade's commercial is quite poignant)

They only recently gave into the corn syrup, they used to be one of the big holdouts still using sugar and was the one reason I would cite for buying it over Powerade. Now, not so much.

Although I think if you buy the powder, its still sugar.

Sorry no help from me on the old stuff, but within the last year or so, the Gatorade labels don't show high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient anymore. For carbs, it only lists sucrose (table sugar like from sugar cane) and dextrose (which is a glucose polymer so readily taken up by cells and utilized).

Those articles apply to all endurance drinks. I believe they are intended for the general public, who do not excersize long enough to need a CHO drink.

that is what i thought. the old Gatorade
made with filtered water , electrolytes and lemon lime flavor was a good product.

now it is not the same thing.
but i cannot find an old label to read exact ingredients.

once we can locate an old label.
we can see how it has changed in a negative way.

I would like to see how this stuff is for the weekend warrior cyclists vs the stuff at the supermarket: http://www.gatorade.com/default.aspx#gs ... gseriespro" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Their online locator says the closest place that sells them for me is 163mi away...
