guys, is 20.14W/kg at 1 sec power something very unique? Does is mean you're born to be a sprinter?

i won't be able to try it for another 2 month probably as the true winter has finally begun where i live. Do you mean there is no direct corelation b/w 1sec power with 5 and 15 sec power?

You don't win races with 1 second efforts. Not 5 sec either, but it gives a pointer towards acceleration. 15 seconds is a more typical sprint scenario.
And a complete overview of the sprint durations gives a better picture than just one number.
Edit: Your sprint isn't bad, but it doesn't necessarily make you a sprinter. You have to look at the even bigger picture to see that (5 min, 20 min and 60 min wattages). And even then it's not set in stone.

FWIW 20w/kg for 5 sec is the bottom rung for track sprinters, top rung for roadies. But as mentioned it's a bit of a pointless metric unless you have the engine to get to the end to use it. And even then sprint usually draw out longer than 5 sec.

1m 9.3w/kg
5m 5.6w/kg
20m 4.9w/kg
Racing as a Cat 4 in SoCal. It's my 3rd year racing and riding. I was competitive last year, with a lower absolute power profile and 10lbs heavier.
I'm a lot stronger this season so hoping there will be an upgrade in the near future; however, everyone seems overly strong this season based on last week's race.
Are these decent numbers for Cat 4/3? Seems there are a lot of big numbers in this thread.

You should be Cat'ing up to 3 with those numbers.
Numbers don't win races so don't worry about it. Race smart and you'll be fine.

I've found that for sprints (and for almost all the flat racing i do in the ME) it's absolute power much more than W/kg which matter.
5s: 17.5W/Kg
1min: 12W/Kg
5min: 6.6W/Kg
20min: 5.5W/kg
But i weigh 62Kg so i struggle to get away on the flat and i can't get near the front on a sprint - So as KWalker says; Got to race smart.
5.5w/kg would put you well near the front in lots of cat 1 and domestic pro crits in the US. A teammate of mine has several top 20 NRC finishes and weighs exactly the same with a similar 20min output. Your 1min is also more than adequate for even a world tour rider, so its somewhat surprising to hear that you have issues.
