looking for some advice for a buddy who is wanting to start a 'Turbo club' for the winter months.

He is thinking of going with Tacx trainers - using one of the training 'video' sessions.

This would be controlled by the class 'leader' with the video on a big TV.

The others would be on more standard turbos using their gears or resistance levers to change the effort level.

The idea would be to allow riders to do tests on the fancy turbo - recording HR, Power and whatever other metrics are available.

Can anyone recommend a suitable trainer for this?

Can the individual test results be stored on the turbo control unit or will they be stored on a laptp?

I'd appreciate any input as he'd need to start getting things prepared now to be ready for the end of season.
