I think this important topic belongs in training rather than road so I'll reference this previous thread <http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=90285&p=779220&hilit=hot+foot#unread> for background, then re-start it here.

I found that the most of the hot foot I experienced was as the reult of athlete's foot, which I had for years and did not know, until it got so bad I bought the creme and treated it properly.

Now my skin is a lot smoother, the friction in my shoes is reduced and so is the hot foot.
