I wasn't trying to "play moderator" I was just making an observation. What does "what is your favorite drink" have to do with lightweight bike parts or bicycles or new advances in technology, or new trick parts to drool over. Just voicing an opinion, and I think most would agree that this thread is mis-placed.

I like water for training, and have seperate drink bottles for water and energy drink, otherwise you get an unpleasant taste when you are drinking water from a bottle that has been used for gatorade etc.

The best for quenching thirst and providing a few carbs in my experience is Maxim/Extran Professional Thirstquencher Orange.

It's like liquid gold when you need fluid replenishment.

Water for training (even if it is more than 3 hours) and high 5 for MTB and road races. Before I used Overstim but I get a very good price on high 5 and I am satisfied by these drink.
