6200Km

Need to get back to work on losing pastry kilos from France and rebuild FTP numbers again. I'm frightened to even test them at the moment.

It's very hard to resist those warm fresh baguettes and well just about everything else in a decent boulangerie in Paris.
That and it's been a shitty winter down here so motivation has been a problem. I think I need to buy me a Jens Voigt iPhone/Garmin app along with the latest HTFU software upgrade.

Year to date stats:

Just over 5,000 miles. 330 hr of ride time and 357k ft elevation gain (~71 ft/mile).

Guess that's about 8,000 km and 108,800 m of elevation gain. It's nice to live in a place were you can ride outside all year.

So far this year

16,500km

121,000m

523 hours

ave speed is a little down from 2010, which would make some sense as I'm building in much softer recovery rides and more hills. Ave power is also 12w higher than last year, which is interesting...

Also got reminded that I wanted to get down to and hold 75kg. I'm pretty much there now and still not happy  I should be able to go lower, but what I see in the mirror ain't reflected on the scales. There doesn't seem to be a massive amount of fat left to drop...

Ah yes, the advantages of being a single man :D

Thing is, because I started so late it's only now just catching me up to decent level. Put me against the domestic Pro's and I'm still struggling...

Only solution left is to try and get bigger numbers.

Small update with A races approching.

FTP is higher and stable since a month. Weight is ~69kg. Now need to fully adap to my TT position before my main objective.
