Get your self checked by a Doctor asap!!!

could be internal bleeding or just brusing. Best to be safe and get a check-up!!!!

you have a concussion. if you go to a hospital right after a concussion what they will do is possibly put you under observation just to make sure you don't lose consciousness. this happened to me, and overnight the nurses kept on waking me up every half-hour or so, just to make sure i haven't slipped into coma. if it has been more than a day since your accident, i doubt they will do anything more except maybe give you medicine for pain.

but you should know that concussions are serious and you should rest and limit jarring activities until your head heals. it can take 2 weeks until the pain goes away. when i had my accident, everytime i stepped my head hurt.

Worth a trip to the hospital just to see a few nurses in uniform.

I have a DVD if you want to borrow it...

pretty simple rule here - if you have an impact on your head - for goodness sake get it checked out! it's not something to mess around with

am recovering now from a broken cheekbone (football accident)...

Big Fellow; Its great you are still laughing after this. Which version of football was it that you were playing at the time?

Under Cycling Australia rules you can't compete again after a accident involing any head injury untill cleared by a doctor.

you should definitely get it checked out, I just had an accident yesterday where I rode into the back of a van, spent 2-3 hours in the hospital getting x-rays etc, ended up that I have a sprained neck and a chipped tooth.

wrecked my helmet that I got the day before, best $100 I ever spent.

but good news: the bike is okay and riding good as ever.

I just came of of a short ride, so I should be back to work tomorrow

wouldn't mind borrowing the dvd tippster
