What is everyone weighing in at?

A light bike doesn't replace good fitness.

I may lose 2-3 more lbs before the season, but I am really lean as is. I think if I lose any more weight power goes down.

The pro chart was quite interesting. The pro peloton seems to be inhabited by a whole bunch of 130-150 lb waifs with some sprinters thrown in.

Down from 82kg 2 years back. Either a case of losing weight and cleaning up my diet or going onto daily blood pressure medication.

While seeming positively porky compared to some of the taller guys here I have very little more that I could lose apart from muscle and at 193/82 I understand have the same height/weight ratio as Indurain. Just missing the motor...

Started training early Jan at 195...hoping to make it to low 170's/high 160's by April. I'll see if I can, I'm a fast-finisher type..1400w 20 sec CP...1600+ instant...so I'm kind of meaty

I just hope I can be light enough to roll over the hills with the better guys...

Love climbing hills, the reward is going down the other side. Max speed down hill, 61 mph. Looking to be 220 lbs by spring, working in the gym and riding here in New England in the winter. Can't wait to climb hills at 42 lbs less.

Wait a minute. 12 lbs in less than 4 weeks?I'm no math major but that's 3 or more lbs per week ! That can't be good for efficient training, that's more of a crash diet even at 195,but hey if it works it works I guess.

I went from 220in March of 2008. I was off the bike for 16 yrs. I am now 160. Not quite as severe but about 6lbs a month just from watching the diet and riding a ton. I am 6'1" btw. I will be at 158 by the end of Feb.

He doesn't say what kind of party season he had - there's easy weight loss to be had if you were 180 before Christmas and hit the mince pies/beers hard for a fortnight to put on 15lb

HUGE party season :)

I've been REALLY bad about staying focused...when I was a junior they used to call me "Little Jan" for my riding style and the way I looked on the bike....it seems to have lived up to it's reputation.

I usually have no trouble dumping down to the mid 180's...it seems to just fall off (and maybe out :P ) of my body...after that it takes "regular" time to drop. Since I posted that originally I'm 182~ish, and currently trying NOT to drop weight since I am doing a pretty rough training block.

I have a teammate who does a crash diet of popcorn....he gets SUPER lean (absolutely SHREDDED!), but curiously enough, he starts to ride sucky after a few weeks. HMMMMM....
