A light bike doesn't replace good fitness.

Hi all,

Within short time I'll start traveling frequently to Singapore for working.
I am considering to bring my road bike.

Is there any possibilities to train on road bike in Singapore?
Is there any club rides to join?
Anything to consider when bringing the road bike too Singapore? Safety etc.

Thanks in advance

Years ago I was supposed to go to SG for a short visit and I searched for into on group rides as I always like to take the chance to ride wherever I go if possible.
Long story short, the local communities mostly ride on very early morning (5am or so) and there are a few group rides.

Yup, weekday morning rides at 5am thereabouts or evenings at 8.30pm/9pm for most groups to avoid traffic and heat. Will drop you a pm with more info soon!

I'm from Singapore. Maybe you can PM me where you are staying in SG and I can recommend some groups that are more convenient for you.
SG is a city state so you would need to limit your expectations on "nice places to ride". Our hills are maybe 80m elevation, so it's alot of repeats for climb training.

I would recommend using Athlete Lab as an alternative.

Athlete Lab is really great. I can recommend it too!
I like all bicycle races but my favorite is La Vuelta a Espana. I was there at the last year and that was amazing event!
