Wind noise ear pain.

Because of the noise, listening to earmuffs can cause a bigger accident. I don't recommend it.
But in winter, you can protect your ears with winter hat.

You said, that you shoot a lot of guns. Last year i had an accident with tubeless mtb setup in a small room, lost my hearing for a bit, and then had super sensitive hearing for a few months. Hi-pitch noises, bangs, and all the usual everyday noises were a nightmare, still have some problems with noises from angle grinders and dropping weights in gym.

You could have damaged hearing, which makes your ears more sensitive to certain frequencies, but unfortunately not in a good way :( I think its best to see the doctor.
