Good timing to bump this thread, I'm having KICKR issues as well. My team had the first version of Kickr, and they worked fine. I experienced the power drop and it was fixed.
I bought the new model Kickr last November, and riding on it is much worse than the original. For some reason, the new models resistance is much higher than the old model. My power2max is reading high for the intervals compared to my power reading on TrainerRoad. I've done 20-minute FTP tests on both the old and new model, the difference is about 25 watts. The old kickr is more on-par with my power2max.
Anybody have any ideas why this is happening? Wahoo support is always eager to help, but besides updating the firmware and doing spindowns they haven't had any other options for me to try.
Wahoo KICKR: what is wrong with my setup? ANT+ problem?

I have had a new Kickr2 for a couple of months and from time to time have had the power / speed sensor drop out. It would work fine for a week then drop out and even after re-pairing the sensors it would refuse to work. VERY frustrating to say the least. The local support tried to help with a few different suggestions but the problem has persisted to the point where I have had to ship it back to have it checked. I was hoping the dealer would replace it on warranty so I am not without a Kickr (I really am enjoying it in the cold months here) but sadly they want to look at it in Queensland so it looks like I am with no trainer for a while.
