Long story, but always been drawn to a bigger frame of two fits, ergo medium or large, I prefer a large. However, I seem to have induced a bad neck over the last year, which I am getting treatment for, but two of my colleagues and riding friend think it is caused by over reaching catching up with me at 44 years old. I asked about my position here and on other forums and get mixed input.
But, I cant spend big money on a new frame downsizing to a medium as a 'test' in case the issue manifests itself, though one hopes it wlll ebb away. But, a question I ask, is buying a used TCR a better option than panic buying a new frame. I like the old TCR shape and I can get a frame at a really good price. I could buy an ISP SL0 now, but common sense says buy cheap as a test.
I think I know the answer but would others dip the toe with a cheaper option first ? I can recoup cash once I have established a better fit by selling my hi mod evo.
Three years old but kinda current. Good bikes never die eh ?
