2x(+15mm) Q-Factor on either side and a plan to bring it to market in just 7 months all via crowd funding.... what could go wrong?

Exactly. The interesting thing is will this, or something similar, break the cost curve and drive prices down.

I bought my Stages PM for £420 new. If it wasn't for the low price I wouldn't be considering a PM and I consider that good enough value for the time being. I can't really see them getting much cheaper than that in the near future* but we live in hope!

*Especially in the UK where the $/£ conversion is 1:1 or more after distribution/ taxes/ etc

Nothing. They will take the money and have a blast.

Appears they've done no prototype work at all. They're about as ready to design, build, and sell these as any of us would be.

Instead of ridiculing, why don't we just take advantage of people? Lets come up with a cool "idea", make bold and sensational claims, and see if we can get a bunch of idiots to give us $1,000,000? Quick, before people catch on or it becomes illegal!
