Hi,
I've bought a Garmin 1000 and am struggling to work out how to change the cadence to 3 second average. It lets me change it to an average cadence but not 3 second.
I have updated all the software and searched for solutions but cannot find how to do this. any help would be great.
Thanks,
David

spdntrxi - I have selected cadence and it then gives two options - "cadence 1 sec" or "cadence average"
is there a way to add the 3 second option?

Dave, and I mean this with all sincerity, but it might be worth using a bit of Google time and searching through here and the web for some understanding of basic terms.
WKO = an abbreviated form of saying 'Training Peaks'. It's a program that is primarily used by those with a power meter. An excellent (and free) alternative is Golden Cheetah.
As for the 3 sec average cadence, I've never seen that as a feature on the Garmin 1000. Not saying it doesn't exist, only I've not seen it exist. Are you sure you're not getting confused with 3 sec power on other people's units?

got home and checked myself... it is not an option... probably just confusing it with 3s power which does exist.
