Just heard that as little as 30g of alcohol equivalent (basically, slightly more as one "standard" bottle of beer) could increase glycogen resynthesis time by 60-100% (thus, impacting recovery). Any truth in such a statement?

the Chaos and Pain blog has an excellent series on why the whole 'alcohol tanks your performance' stuff is bullshit. Just don't open the site at work or around your kids or at least disable the images as he posts some terrible shit on there.
