Very interesting story indeed. Sounds like JTL mostly trained himself before, and reached an astonishingly high level doing so. Would be intrigued to get a Sky coach's take on what went wrong this year.

Yeah, let's not forget that Sky has had crap results in one day races (2012 olympics included) so their way is probably not the be all end all for those kind of events. I know Sagan is a complete freak, but rumour is that he doesn't train like in the Sky mold, that's for sure.
