They would appear at "Inner Tubes", but so far there aren't any listed.
I once got two submissions, but both lacked required additional data, so I dropped them.

But you can also fill in your own data if a component isn't listed:
simply choose a random item, afterwards click on the entries (there are hidden text fields) and edit them.

Back to the name problem: I chose Paper Build Configurator as working title and I think it's not very memorable.
Any ideas?

Someone proposed Bike-Build-O-Mat.
What do you think?

I'm buying a bike at the moment and this tool is very useful for looking at the upgrades I can make if I buy a cheaper brand (Cytek).

The ability to save would be great.

"Bike compiler"

"Bike component compiler"

"Bike configurator"

"Bike builder"

"Bike Component List Creator"

"Custom Bike Builder"

I dunno just trying to throw some ideas into the wind.

I think you should pick some names and run a poll Florian.

Yes, but I won't implement it before the configurator becomes stable.
Then I'll have to become familiar with XML, because I plan to save builds as an XML file.
But for next few weeks I'll concentrate on adding new bikes.

ChangeLog
  • Build can be downloaded in PDF format (min. total weight: 3000 g)
  • fixed several bugs

How do you intend to add bikes, by individual item?

I'm shopping for a bike at the moment and might be able to help with the bikes I've looked at.

I miss an entry for rear shocks, as many FS-frame weights are given w/out shocks. Also a 2nd entry for brakes is missing. Some have different front and rear brakes, and in most cases weight is given for front and rear brake separately.
