For the rims: would it be possible to write the hole counts and the rim depth(or write if it's an aero rim or not) for every rim? Would be nice, if somebody's looking for an aero wheel set or one for climbing.

Greetings core

I don't release any new submission without a holecount.
Sometimes I release such an entry to give the submitter the chance to correct his submission.

As first step I'd suggest to split the rims into Road and MTB categories.
I think we've now enough entries for a separation.
I could add to the comments of the existing entries if it's an aero or semi-aero rim.

Hi,

I've just weighed 3 bicycle helmets and thought it would be great to add this new category to the listings. What do you think?
Best regards,

For example?

A category for helmets was one of the most requested.

Joel,

I requested this category since I think this is bike oriented weight weenies website, encompassing not only parts, but bicycle specific stuff in general. Just hope that nobody will advocate mobile phones ;-)

It would be really cool if you divided the listings section in Road and Mountain bike. Would be so much easier to find stuff. Other then that THIS SITE RULES!!!!!!!! WEIGHT WEENIES YEAH!!! :D

Maybe you can add a column to the listings where you specify the use: MTB, road, cross, mixed ....

Just an idea.

So many quotes: this must be a difficult question!
WeightWeenies is a GREAT site :P
I think the division of the listings is difficult and everything has his pros and contras

Hi Florian,

I have just weighed couple of old Shimano 105 components and would like to add them to the database. Problem is that the manufacturing year list in submission form starts from 1990 and these 105's parts were made in 1987. Could you add previous (from 1980 perhaps) years to the listing in order to avoid confusion? Thanks.
Best regards,

:?: How do I find out if a certain topic is covered in the Forum, other than by scrolling through all past posting titles?
 It would be great to have a search function in the Forum, to be able to look up specific topics/subjects/brands/etc.
