Are you sure?? they say it takes one to know/see one.... and i think i see one!

anyhows, tikka gets my vote for his enthusiasm alone. adrien, madcow peztech and samu also deserve mentions for their posts, all very knowledgeable contributors and have some great toys to share with the forum.

+1 for tikka – a shrill clear voice of enthusiasm and camaraderie in an otherwise soporific monotone of playground name calling and pHd measuring contests

WW isn't what it used to be when Casran and LJ won it. The camaraderie has been lost and replaced by point scoring and pissing contests. I think it would be a good time to retire this award.

I don't agree with you here and feel the same as Rodrego. Maybe it's good to let this rest, maybe not - it's up the the mods if they want to organize something.

Let me put it this way. Try and write some interesting topics about bikes, not complain there is nothing good and keep quiet or leave. The more people keep saying "it's no good", the less we'll see the good stuff, hence my statement.

Fair enough. I think I'm fairly quiet but try to contribute or help people when/if I can and sometimes I think it would be nice if other people did the same. I have followed this forum since the very beginning and you can't deny things have changed over the years, some for the better and some for the worse. At this point sadly I agree with Rodrego and see his statement as more of a conclusion then a self-fulfilling prophecy - nothing more nothing less.

id just like to say that ive made some good mates through here and my bike has got lighter because of the site as well. isnt that what its about? for me ww isnt about having a massive bank account and clicking in starbike or some outrageously expensive light parts site and doing one order its about planning and getting parts for cheaper than they should be. (well thats what i do) and it makes the whole building process fun. and im sorry if things have changed but thats what happens.

Boonen and Rodrego indeed have a point.

Bravo.
And what point is that exactly ?
Let me think.. Those who left and don't post anymore are just posers who can't find exciting new toys to boast about anymore because everyone else has them too ?
