I have a pm message I sent but it is stuck in my outbox for the last few hours and I don't believe the recipient has gotten it - is that normal?

It has some links in it but that's all.

Private Messages on this board stay in your outbox until the recipient reads them. Unless there's been a glitch, your recipient has been alerted that a message awaits.
