except for going one week to the Pyrenees, What is the Toulouse road cycling scene like ? Interested to know (in priority order):

1. Roads - routes in Toulouse and around the Country.
2. Competitive group rides and clubs.
3. local Races.

is a few good bike shops in the area, visit Jalaberts bike shop, near balgnac airport, in a commercial centre there. can't remember its name though.
the scene is pretty good down there too. Don't have any of my old contacts anymore though, sorry.
Have fun down there, is a lovely part of the world. You can go out training in the right areas at the right times, and see one car an hour!

Except for going to do some climbs in the Pyrenees,
i would like to have advice on the following:

1. the most recommended routs and places to ride
2. "open" Competitive group rides and clubs so we join
