Just wanted to wish Bespoke all the best in his exciting new venture....

www.bespokecycling.com

It was the grand opening today and I'm sure there will be a few pictures surfacing when they get over the hang overs in the morning. I know Stefan was in attendance so I doubt very much Barry will see his bed much before 4.00am.

Barry started as a weight weenie just like the rest of us. He took a few calculated gambles which has culminated in this lastest adventure.

All the best for a prosperous future mate

Good luck Barrie, I wondered what the Bespoke thing was about.

I will be in London with Ergon Bike Ergonomics in the next couple of weeks. I will try to come by, will call your mobile first.

Parlee, Kent Eriksen and LW. Not too bad!

Also good to see that Kent found a good dealer in Europe (as for me in Switzerland it was a little difficult to find a way to import the frame)...

I am at the opening party right now. Thanks to mobile internet I can give a short report. The "boutique" is really cool. Only the finest cycling parts hanging on the wall and you feel more like you are visiting Tiffanys than a bikeshop. It has about 50 people here and all are enjoying free beer and champaigne. Only Mr. Jeffries is missing :)
of course we will not be in bed before 4 AM. Barry has his birthday at 12 :)

Barry, how come I was not made aware of the free beer situation? (I hope you are not adding insult to injury by serving Schneider-Weisse...)

Sorry I couldn't make it.

Best wishes from the whole PC crew!

This sounds really like a great project. I had the chance of meeting Barry in Friedrichshafen last summer, and a guy that dedicated to cycling is predestinated to succeed in a shop like this one...

Sounds like I should visit London this summer, attend some triathlon and visit the Bespoke Cycling shop? :D

Can't wait to see the pictures.

Enjoy the party, Stefan. Do they have 1/2 lite beers in London?

Good luck Barry... and happy birthday! :beerchug:

Hoxton too. Trendy mullet haircuts and electro clubs. That's where the cash is these days :D
Good luck and will pop in soon to take a gander...

Best of luck to you Barry. Now that you're married, you have an excuse for not being home as much... "Sorry honey, but someone has to run the shop"
