For sale is a pair of Chris King ISO disc hubs. I won't go into much detail about the hubs here, I'm sure their legendary reputaion speaks for itself, probably as close to indestructable as hubs can get and remarkably light too. There is the old adage about bike parts: "Strong, Light, Cheap. Pick any two..." Chris King opted for the first two, the only thing anyone ever says against them is that they are rather pricey, but you do get what you pay for! The RRP of a brand new set is over £500 so there is a chance here to grab a bargain, it should be the last pair of hubs you ever need to buy.



These particular ones are silver and feature the international standard 6-bolt disc mount. They have standard quick realease axles but the front can be converted to 15mm if required (adaptor not included) They have seen very light use, so light that the spokes have barely left a mark (32 on both hubs by the way) There are some obvious marks on the freewheel as you can see from the photographs. However, these do not detract from the performance in any way at all and will of course be hidden as soon as a cassette is installed anyway. The freewheel body itself is the aluminium version, which is of course lighter than the steel one, but does leave it prone to the marks mentioned above.

Bought for a project which never quite happened so now surplus again.
