Hey,

I have 2 tuberims , Mavic Argent 7 and Mavic Argent 10. These rims weighs 267 grams and 343 grams. I like to build these wheels for CX. I would use these rims with Ulterga hubs(9 or 10speed). But are these rims strong enough for this work?

Thanks

i also have several rims in that style. since i'm young and don't know how they performed when they were "en vogue", i asked a few people about them. in short words the rims would be good for mountain time trial wheels, but not really for normal road racing or cyclocross, where stiffness and durability counts as well(at least the argent 7 rim).
