After some new rubber fOr racing. Am i right in thinking the Dugast is pretty much the best tyre you can get these days?

Anything else i should be looking at?

They are a great tubie. I would recommend them.

I'd look at any of the tires from FMB over the Dugast. I think something like the FMB Grippo XL (old racing ralph tread) is much more versatile than a Typhoon, offering much better cornering grip and nearly the same rolling speed. Also the FMB SSC and Grifo tread are quite excellent as well. Plus, the casings won't rot out after a season (like a dugast).
