My x-night frameset has a permanent front deraillier housing bracket which is positioned in a way that interferes with the ideal collar clamp location of the Paul chain keeper. LBS fabricated an aluminum arm extension. Works well but not the most appealing app. Has anyone used double chainring guards with optimal success?

more races that count have been won with double guards than any other single-ring method...

Decided to go with double "chainring" setup instead.
LBS mounting a 40T Thorne inner/46T Envy outer to my 7800 crankarms.
12-27T SRAM 1070 cassettes on wheelsets. Plenty on the flat portions now.

You could just use the derailleur without the cable

Should have gone with the 38T inner!
