What size K-Edge chainguard?

What size K-Edge chainguard?

Post subject: What size K-Edge chainguard?

I'm running a 39t single ring setup on my cross bike this year with a K-Edge chainguard on the outside and a clamp-on keeper on the inner. The K-Edge guard comes in either 38t or 42t - which should I go for? I wondering if the 38t will be a little small and the 42t too large? Thanks.
