Post subject: Grifo vs Vittoria XG

I never rode the XGs, always been on Challenge. The tread pattern looks sort of like Grifos and it has more thread count, 320 vs 260. Are these indeed good tires? If I didn't really experience major flats w/Challenge tires, do these theoretically flat more or less due to the TPI.

I was just given a set to try out, but all my tubs are already glued w/no spare wheels. Should I bother w/these?
