My friends 56cm came in at 1530g pretty porky

Thank you very much for the information. This is pretty close to the 1580 gr. the Scott CX Team frame is supposed to weigh and I was hoping that weight might be the criterion that would help me choose between the Scott and the Specialized frame... well I guess I'll have to base my choice on color then

I finally got the frame in 54 and it weighs about 1530g as well.

Interesting.
My 52 from 2010 (late production) comes in at 1462g

My 2012 in the red/white color, size 58, was 1550g. Fork was 622g uncut.

I've heard the green/blue color scheme is a bit lighter, but it also starts to fade almost immediately.
