Post subject: Aerus Carbon fork

I just received the Aerus carbon CX fork ( www.aeruscomp.com) The listed weight is 380 grams, got mine home and weighed it-----650 grams. It has a carbon steerer tube as well. I didnt think something with so much carbon in it/ on it could weigh so much. My all Aluminum Specialized stock fork with a cut steerer tube is 750 grams.

Hopefully, the dampening will make me ride a ton faster

I guess it's carbon-wrapped Al.
Or the fork has some hidden lead inserts.

you have the cross fork its claimed to be 664g, yours is lighter, you should be happy about it, the 380 g fork can`t be used with cross tires!
