Orbea Lobular Cross frame weight?
Moderator: Moderator Team
Anyone know what the frame weight is on the lobular cross frame? This bike is on my short list for my new race bike.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think this is a Lobular frame. But i don't now if the 1,4 kg are with or without the fork.

Thanks for the link. It looks like just the frame weight.
it should be here next week. I did a custom sizing, so it took about eight weeks for it to get here. It actually arrived today, but they didn't put the water bottle bosses on it and I had it sent back for them to put them in at Orbea USA. The frame is abosolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I got the international team paint job like Jeremy Powers and it looks awesome. I'm thinking I'm going to get a Reynolds fork, but for now will use the Orbea fork. I'll try to remember to weigh the frame before I build it. I got a 55 center to center with a 56 top tube.
I am sure that is going to be a really cool bike. I am kind of in between sizes 57-60. I probably ride a 58. How expensive was it to get the custom sizing?
$150 more. I got it Friday, it's a sweet ride. I'm very pleased. 19.01 as it stands, will be lighter come race time for sure. There's a lot of fat on it now.. Fork is heavy, so if I was to do it again I'd get the fork I wanted. I plan on going to a Reynolds, which is a boat load lighter! I'll post a pic once I get a smaller one that will upload.
