They are trying to go to the Olympics in 2008. And since cx isn't an olympic sport, they're going for a spot on the mtb team!

Oh I see, these guys are doing it as well.

Nys made the same decision and won the belgian MTB champs last year. Now Meirhaeghe and Paulissen are his big competitors here. But Sven Nys won an MTB race in Ronse/Renaix last Sunday!

...me! A tactical overlap by Nijs in the last 20 meters or so, otherwise I had to do another lap. I came in 34th, so only 33 people didn't get overlapped.
