I am intending on updating the drivetrain on the gravel bike to 1x11 and go from Ultegra mechanical to Di2. The plan is to run Ultegra r8070 shifters with an XT/XTR rear mech. I also intend to convert the current Quarq Elsa RS to a single chainring (Absoluteblack).

Does this setup sound feasible?

Will I need to change my cassette and if so, will it fit a standard shimano hub?

Thanks

road hubs are slightly larger than mtb hub, so if you want to use 11spd mtb cassette (which you probably will on a 1x11) you'll have to run a spacer (1.8mm I think).
Road cassettes work fine too.
