Anyone tried to put 650b wheels on a Trek Crockett Disc (not the newest 2017). How wide tires can be used? Experiences?

Why wouldn't it work? I don't think there is too big of an inward bump in the tubes. That's the best part of disc wheels.

(from my deraileur incident, 25c tires on)

What size tire do you want to run?

As wide as possible. I thought that the frame could take wider tires on 650b compared to the standard 700c wheels. My idea is to use it for trails and rough terrain instead of having a hard tail MTB

I don't know if you'll tuck much more than 42-45c /1.75" in there. Plus, gearing and ground clearance may be an issue. Try it though with a loaner wheel/tire
