SRAM 11 speed 1x shifter compatibility
Moderator: Moderator Team
I got a SRAM x-horizon rear derailleur all setup on my bike (with proper 10-42 Sram cassette and HD body). I thought the SRAM Rival "zero loss" 22 brifter would work with this but it appears not to have the correct pull. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L6SBUW2/
I don't want to use a trigger shifter. I find the SRAM website not particularly helpful .. any suggestions on the correct brifter, even a link to a website selling it would be great.

which xhorizon rear derailleur? Is it a road rd or a mtb rd?
Road 1x and mtb 1x are not compatible.
A road 1x rd will shift correctly with all 10 and 11s road brifters
If you want to keep your rd and its a mtb rd, you will have to look at cable pull adapters

Force1 rear mech is what you need
Edit: or I think there is also a rival1 now?

It's a MTB derailleur. I had thought the "x-horizon" had the same pull for road and MTB 1x derailleurs. I guess not!
I found this and ordered it. https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/cables/0-jt ... 9/?geoc=US
Exact actuation is what you are looking for.
10s MTB derailleurs will work, the newer 11s "X-actuation" ones have a different ratio, but now there are the "road" equivalents mentioned above.
