A bit tired of the battery of my Di2. Not a huge issue, but at three occasions i have been taking the bike out just to find the battery is in need of charging.
So i would like to see if anyone has had a chance of testing Rotor UNO?
It seems hydraulic would be a superb idea for a gravel bike.
No need to worry of electronic failure when washing the bike and no need to worry that battery suddenly needs charging.

Are you actually able to get this groupset?

Doesn't the battery only need charging about once a month?

And if a CX season of jet washing hasn't done any serious damage, a wet sponge and a hosepipe isn't going to hurt it.

Is it just that you are really badly organised? ;)

mattr, the battery usually handles more than a month. But i have had issues with my first battery (failed) and the second battery is now draining in just 2-3 days even though the bike is not used.
Need perhaps not level on how tired i am of this?

You can organize best you like, it doesn't save you from this issue anyway...

Maybe organised on the sense of getting it fixed then. A battery draining in that amount of time where several weeks would be usual is probably a warranty issue.

Availability popped up on the uk distributor website at the beginning of the week. I think it was the post mount disc brake version showing as 2 groups in stock.

If you can afford it, buy it for the cool factor alone.

The price is perhaps the main issue!
€2500 excluding crankset!
Also haven't seen what the disc brake version will cost.

I am not sure of what to make of the tests i have read either. Some say front shifting is a bit heavy, that would be a serious minus for me.
I don't find any data on available cassettes other than 11-28, not if the RD and FD can handle smaller chainring sizes like 32-44T for gravel.

It would be a blast if there was some way to test a bike with UNO.

At the moment, i am rather tired of my Di2 which proves more hassle than i thought it could or would turn out to be.

Ouch, that's pricey! I have Etap on two bikes without any issues. It also isn't cheap but it works flawlessly on a road bike. The batteries last a long time.

Price is the same for disc and non disc groupsets.

well the first reviews are in and it is half baked product. maybe wait for version 2.0

"Whilst we’re on the matter of the hoods let’s talk about the shifters; the double-tap shifting system feels familiar from SRAM but that’s disappointingly where the familiarity stopped. Rear cassette shifting was ok, and felt on par with a mid-range mechanical shifting groupset, although more force is needed to shift that on a mechanical. But the real disappointment was when shifting from the small to large ring on the front, which was basically a disaster. To change gear meant having to push the lever so far across it felt like it was never going to make the shift. This was not helped by how flimsy the lever felt, there is too much flex in the lever itself exaggerating the amount of distance the lever needs to travel to function to go up a gear."

In theory Rotor UNO make sense, but if it's not better than a Sram Rival (FD) then it's not for me.
With my new batteries, BT DN 110, the former issue is totally gone.
