For you guys who like to bike in the cold of winter.
Check these out

http://www.thermosoles.eu/

I bought the 3D version for my Giro VR-90, so i use the insoles with an overshoe.
It's a great asset for cold days!

If you'd use heated insoles, you get an even warmer shoe.

i had a set and didn't really work that great. using plastic wrap over my wool socks was better than this particular brand of heated insoles. i've tried a few and if i had to have heat...i'd use a chemical pack on top of the plastic wrap. works in the mid 20F temps. my fingers get cold still and i'm still looking for something to curb the chill on that. A'ME makes heated bar tape. maybe i should look into that.

Wow! That's amazing. I usually just use a winter cycling boot 1-2 sizes bigger as that has been the key for me. It did not really matter how warm was the equipment, if it was tight, my toes would get cold. This is a really neat idea. I will have to check it out. Thank you!

it cuts the wind and protects the toes. cover only the front half. wear wool socks as any moisture vents out towards the heel. its a cheap way to keep the foot warmer at least 10 F...at least that's what it feels like to me.
i wear the Specialized winter boot as well.

I use some Lake winter boots/shoes. Similar to the current MXZ303 model. Mine are about 20 years old. Unfortunately I bought them to actually fit my feet. NOT extra large. So they aren't super warm. Wool socks, neoprene booties and I am OK around freezing temps. Any colder than freezing and my feet get cold after an hour. A friend has some Northwave winter shoes. He raves about them. But he also uses those heating gel packs. Another friend uses sandals and wool socks in winter. Says they work great. I would need a half dozen wool socks and some plastic bags to keep the wind out and heat in. Best advice is to go for short rides in the winter so your feet can't get cold. Short time. And find some inside activity in the winter.
