The older FSA SLK 5 bolt carbon crank in bb30 is like 20 grams heaver than the Red22. Add the 36 46 SRAM rings and it'll be about 500g.

I had one come on a lightly pre-enjoyed frameset I bought. I figured I'd swap it out for a real light crank, the Red22. So i get my Red22 in, take the FSA off, and weigh them side by side. Dang. Wasted my money. oh well.

Good to know! Are you now running the Sram Red 22 cranks with the saw-like big ring?

Very nice! I hoped they would make the 46t in the saw-design too as it's easy to clean and doesn't hold a lot of mud/dirt.

I would easily take Wert Catalyst crankset. That is, if it comes out.
However, cost is another thing

Hehehe, I remember seeing renders of their designs and being impressed. Not so much by the delivery dates though.

I'm guessing Tupac brings out a new album before we see the cranks (or stem). :-(

Craig (EE) is working on a crank. But it is clearly not at all like Catalyst.
I have tried to persuade Craig to make a 386 version, but that he was not sure of.

Catalyst, last time i spoke to Rico, was expected to cost 1485 Euro.
However, when they actually are available (if they ever will be), i am not sure if they will cost 1250, 1485, even more or (hopefully) less.
Anyway, i would prefer them over a carbon dito.
