Di2 or CX1?

Got Campag shifters at the moment so will get thorough the current season with that set up but am considering changing for next. I have 1 x 11 on my new MTB and am loving it in that set up and also have Di2 on my road bike and find the sappy and reliable changing a real boon. I currently only have the one bike so a really reliable set up is important.
What would you choose as your new groupset?

If you're doing hydro discs, I don't think shimano can be beat unfortunately. Although I haven't been on the latest version from sram, it has always felt lacking by comparison.

2*11 for more options and more linear shifting.
I was in for 1*11 on my gravel bike, but when i started a thread aswell as described how i use gears, i was told to go 2*11.
What i like with 1*11 CX 1 is that you don't need batteries aso.
But for a pure road bike i still would pick 2*11, maybe not on a MTB because i am not sure you need same dynamics (from fast to slow)
I wouldn't cry one second if i could afford Rotor UNO.

1x11 with R785 shifters and an XT Di2 mech, 10-42 or 11-40 casette?

I'm assuming you're doing this on your CX bike. If so, I would agree with Nefarious: run an XT or XTR Di2 RD with the corresponding shifters (R785 if hydraulic disc, Ultegra or Dura Ace for everything else) and set it up 1x11 with a Narrow/Wide chainring up front.
If gravel, go with the 2x11 setup.

Most of those riders insist on having a 46x11 for the starting sprint. My legs just aren't that strong.

Lots of good stuff here thanks. This is purely for CX racing and with some training on the road. I like the idea of simplicity so that stuff works in a race situation all of the time (as near as possible) I have x1 on my MTB and like it, have Di2 on my race bike and like that as well. Most of my CX races are of the flat variety so am leaning towards CX1 mainly because of the small buttons on the Di2 shifter
I'd definitely go 1x on a cross bike. Sram and Di2 both shift perfectly. If the frame has routing for full housing Sram seems impervious to the elements as I've had no problem in even gnarly mud on my MTBs. However, sectioned housing would concern me. The brakes though would be the decision maker for me. I strongly prefer Shimano brakes so I'd use the Di2 derailleur. Good thing my MTBs allow Shimano brakes with Sram shifting.
I do like the idea of x1 but am worry of SRAM. They, the shifters, have a reputation for fragility and breaking easily. In deed, my local bike shop stopped selling it because of the number of broken shifters he had waiting to be warranted. How are people finding the durability of the SRAM shifters and rear mech?
For 1x11 electronic, rear Derailleur Xt Di2 or Xtr Di2, brake lever/Shifter Alfine Di2, disc brakes mechanical; Tektro Spyre or Avib BB7...... option for hydraulic disc brakes; Tektro Hy/Rd, Juin tech r1, Gunsha CX r1.............

Exactly the set up of a guy I was talking to today as my CX race. He had his Di2 shifters set up so that any left button was a dwonchange any button the right lever was an up change meaning no worrying about the small di2 buttons. He had an XTR MTB rear mech, but I see Shimano have bought out a XT version this year, Looked a great set up.
So, another question. Talking to another racer at an event with a Specialised Crux and he said it was not possible to fit a MTB style rear mech because of where the rear cable routing comes out of the stay. Anyone else got a Crux with the MTB style rear mech fitted?
