I am looking for a set of chainrings to use with a Rotor 3D30 crankset (110 BCD). Most likely I'll be looking for 46/36 or 44/34.

Does anyone have experience with or knowledge about WickWerks and Praxis chainrings? Which are better?

Should I also look for other chainrings?

WW looks interesting!
Absolute black comes with 48/32 (circumferance is same as round 50/34).
But will come 2.0-2.2mm closer to BB.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not looking for road chainrings. 50T is way too big for CX.

I do ride some road and gravel, but I'm fine with the biggest chainring being a 46T.

I have a 46T laying here. I intended to mount that in the winter.
I am not sure if i should go ahead and test the forthcoming AB chainring combo i mentioned.
I am actually happy on round chainrings.

I raced on WickWerks for a couple of cross seasons. Couldn't be happier. I usually do not buy all the marketing hype, but I can attest that the number and design of the ramps makes shifting happen quicker, and every time, regardless of racing conditions (mud, dust, rain). They are still going strong on my non-race bike, as I've gone 1X for racing.

I cannot compare with Praxis, as I've not ridden those.

Thanks! I'll see if I can get hold of a set of rings to try out.

Not sure. I need 5-arm rings for a Rotor crankset :)

@wheelsONfire They do make a 4-bolt 110 version. Look under "Road Bike Ultrawide" and then select 4-bolt from drop down menu

Got Praxis on my CX bike and am very happy with them. They change well and are hopefully more robust than the standard rings that folded very quickly! I am sure WW rings are mighty fine as well. It is a good upgrade to your CX bike if you have a bit of spare cash floating around.

Second Praxis rings - running on my all around bike. Shifted great with Campy 11 and now with 6800. If I would race CX again, I would go after the WW 44/34t.

I would like to try the WickWerks chainrings, but they're unfortunately impossible to find anywhere in Europe :(

Ended up buying a set of Praxis 46/36 rings. They were on sale at R2-Bike (but seem not to be any longer).
