Hi,

has somebody of you experience with setting up a XTR Di2 Derailleur on a road crank? Does it work?

I can not and do not want to install a MTB crank on my bike...

Cheers,
Phil

It depends on what size rings you are running.
It also can depend on where the frame places the derailleur

According to these guys it should work depending on the way you mount the derailleur.

I think you will be able to get it to work. It's really a shame that Shimano hasn't come out with a good Di2 system with a clutch RD for CX.

But, if the spy shots are accurate, it will be out in the next release.

You can always run a single ring with an XTR RD, but I understand if that range won't work for you.

Xtr fd is designed for 10 tooth spacing on crank. You may run into rubbing issues if you go with a normal road crank. Remember that xtr wont work on a braze on road mount either.

Interesting, which spy shots are those?
