Light reliable 11-32 10S cassette option below $$ XX
Moderator: Moderator Team
I'm looking to find a relatively light 11-32 option for cyclocross.
11-30 would be cool too.
Shimano XT M771 is cheap and reliable but pretty heavy...
XTR 980 only has 11-34...
Shimano 6700 is not too heavy (apparently but I guess approaching 300g), but 12-30 only ...
7900 is light and not too hard to find at a decent price, but 11-28 only ... I really need a least the 30T cog.
Sram 1070 is also cheap, and heavy...
The SRam XX price is out of this world...
How about Recon cassettes ? I guess not very good shifting, and doesn't last very long...
Spécialités TA Podium cassette in 11-32 ? Anyone has used them ?
Anything else I missed ?
Louis

How about the Edco Monoblock cassette? Might still be on the high side but worth a shot.

The Edco cassettes are very nice. Also expensive.
I have both the 10 speed and the 11.
They shift as good as Shimano....and better and quieter than SRAM
But seeing you have a $$ caveat....you probably want a Shimano or SRAM. I don't think you'll notice a few grams
